About PERSUASIAN

PERSUASIAN focuses on Asian representation in the arts by sharing the stories of artists, businesses, and organizations that support and/or are related to the AAPI experience. From literature to film, this magazine captures the nuances of the Asian American arts community that tend to be overlooked in mainstream culture. 

PERSUASIAN was inspired by one question: how can we dismantle these outdated stereotypes and redefine what it means to be an Asian artist in Western culture?

Whether you're Asian or an ally to the Asian community, PERSUASIAN welcomes all. This is a space where we can challenge the underrepresentation and misrepresentation of Asians in the arts. Here, we can become part of the solution.
